On meeting a real Gruffalo, the story unravels further where mouse keeps his cool advising of his authority within the wood. Taking the Gruffalo back through the forest the animals who witness the pair become fearful and run away leaving mouse with his title of 'most frightening animal' and Gruffalo flees.
