Carrs of Sheffield'Carrs of Sheffield' are a prestigious manufacturer of beautiful sterling silver gifts - perfect for a very special occasion such as the birth of a new baby or a Christening. Sterling silver quaichs and tankards are our best selling items. All 'Carrs' silverware products are supplied in beautiful presentation boxes.
'Carrs' started as a company by Ron Carr in the year of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, 1977 and quickly established itself as a quality silverware jeweller throughout the UK with its main business focusing on frames. By 1981, the business branched into the overseas markets with their first successful exhibition at Spring Fair International in Birmingham. With demand increasing at a rapid rate and to enable itself in supplies of materials, 'Carrs' set up its own in-house fabrication department in 1990.
The expansion in the range continued and 1995 'Carrs' opened concessions at both Harrods and Selfridges in London and remain the only British silverware company to have a sub-branch of the Sheffield Assay Office based within our own premises.
Creating exquisite Photo frames is where 'Carrs' made their name and this Plain Sterling Silver Photo Frame with its classically elegant style is discretely hallmarked on the front of the frame and with a lush midnight blue velvet backing. This is the perfect surround to hold a Christening photograph or a photo of a new baby.

The appealing curved shape of the Child's Silver Loop Handle Spoon is what makes it a different kind of Christening or birth gift. Made from beautiful solid sterling silver with a feature assay mark down the length of the handle, this is the kind of gift that will be appreciated for years to come.
